3rd Place -- Cassidi Nother ( Gr. 4 ) East Gary Subject: Dancing.

Junior English --- Gr. 6 - 8

1st Place - Caleb Young ( Gr. 6 ) East Gary Subject: Puberty

2nd Place -- Rachelle Landry ( Gr. 8 ) East Gary Subject: Unscrupulous Pet Stores.

3rd Place Kara Nixon (Gr. 7 ) John Black P.S. Subject: Chewing Gum.

Sandra Hoegy was on hand to present the awards. She has been attending since 1990 to present the Howard Hoegy Memorial trophy for Junior English. The top 2 speakers from each class will advance to the District A-15 competition in Guelph on April 9.
